Does anyone still read this? I'm kinda forget about it for a while, but I did state that the blog was for the summer and after and well, it is after. So let's see. Updates! I've made great progress on my Wycliffe application, filling out my name and occupation and education history! But in my defense there have been some other things going on. After arriving back from British Columbia, I promptly headed back up to Canada, this time to Toronto, where Sarah is from. It was an excellent trip, with my parents being able to meet her.
But now I'm back down in the Deep South, enjoying the end of the summer but not so much the 776 miles between Fort Mill and Toronto. The Wycliffe application process is lengthy, so in anycase I was always going to need to get a job. After much prayer and consideration, it was decided that I should get a job in Toronto. As it happens, Toronto seems to be a hub for clincial research and biotech, which is precisely what I am best trained to work in.
So that's where I am now, applying for jobs up in our neighbor to the north. Pray that God would guide that process and lead me to the job that he has picked out for me. I'm excited about where he is taking me, and am confident that I'm headed in the right direction.
I'll keep you updated!
