Arrival!

Greetings from British Columbia! After an uneventful plane voyage I arrived at Vancouver this afternoon, greeted by gorgeous weather and someone to pick me up. Most of the afternoon was getting settled in and some orientation, and this evening I’m trying to line up all my things for tomorrow before bed. Phonetics class starts tomorrow morning at 8am. Exciting.

I’ll admit to a small amount of anxiety as to my ability to master this new subject area, but I know that God is faithful. He brought me all the way out here, and I know he’ll enable me to accomplish His Will.

This is a picture of my accommodations for the summer. It's a little Spartan, but plenty for me. All the single guys are in the same dorm, and they seem to be a great group.

Please pray that as classes begin that God will grant me, and all the students here, clarity of mind as we begin our studies. Your prayers mean the world to me, I'll be sure to send more details about the classes later.
